Made of matte hardcoat anodized durable aerospace aluminum, it holds your scope firmly in place. All bolts are made of stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance. 
 
Three rail mounting bolts and six scope ring mounting bolts (for each ring) hold your scope firmly in place. All three rail mounting bolts function also as recoil lugs.
 
Value line - there has been less attention put to the finish - it has rectangular edges that are not that smooth. This does not affect the strength of the mount, just the aesthetics.
